The Social Good Accelerator is a European movement born in 2017 out of an observation: the technological transition of non-profit organisations working and innovating for the general interest is not yet sufficiently taken into account by public authorities, companies and investors.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It is, however, a sine qua non for innovation and European competitiveness centred on respect for life, social justice and climate justice.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This technological transition, which leads to greater efficiency for the Social and Solidarity-based Economy, but also to new safeguards in the face of the hyper-growth tech sector, must be accelerated and placed at the heart of European transition strategies, in order to orient our models towards greater inclusion and collective well-being.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The collective has been federated into an association since 2018 and brings together more than 30 member organisations. It leads an advocacy, a community of solidarity and proposes tools to accompany the actors who carry or wish to contribute more to the technological transition of nonprofit organizations in Europe.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ _builder_version=”4.15″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.15″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.15″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.15″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]

Our vision: we need Tech to run for Social good !<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The power of social utility actors is to implement effective solutions to social and environmental challenges. But their technological transition is poorly supported, even though the innovation that is recognized and financed is essentially technological innovation.<\/span><\/p>\n

The power of technological innovation players is to speed up the time and efficiency of organizations. But technological innovation is only valuable if it produces an improvement in the well-being of all, within the limits of the planet’s natural resources.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0These two “worlds” (technological and social) rarely intersect.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is essential today to bring forces together to respond to the major global challenges.<\/span><\/p>\n

We believe that the actors working for the Common Good must be given the means to increase their skills and invest in order to increase the efficiency of their models and services thanks to the technological potentialities.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is a sine qua non for accelerating societal change in Europe and strengthening the raison d’\u00eatre of the European Union.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0In order to do this, you have to:<\/span><\/p>\n

  • To play a collective role at European level by creating a network dedicated to the defence of the technological interests of the actors of the social and solidarity economy in Europe.<\/span><\/li>\n

          • The association is made up of active volunteer members, members. The executive committee meets monthly, the Board of Directors at least 3 times a year and the General Assembly twice a year.<\/span><\/li>\n
          • It may be reinforced by employees seconded to the company as skills sponsors.<\/span><\/li>\n
